Alipay-NUS Enterprise Social Innovation Challenge was jointly organised by Alipay, a payment and lifestyle platform, operated by Ant Financial Services Group (Ant Financial), and NUS Enterprise, the entrepreneurial arm of the National University of Singapore (NUS). It is a joint initiative to look for the most innovative social impact enterprises which focus on digital technology towards building a comprehensive society.
SmartPeep was extremely proud that we made into the Top 9 of this challenge. Although we did not win this time, it was still an eye opener and a good experience for us going against some of the creative and innovative startups in Asia. We sincerely congratulate the winner, Aruna and wishing other finalists a great success in their future!
All the grand finalists will receive further support to amplify our positive impact on the society. The grand finale’s winner, Indonesian startup Aruna will be given a total of S$60,000 (RM182,907), while other finalists from Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia will receive S$10,000 (RM30,485) each. Besides, the winner and all other finalists will benefit from the 10x1000 Tech for Inclusion programme, mentorship and incubation support from NUS Enterprise for three months, as well as access to its BLOCK71, an ecosystem builder and global connector community with co-working spaces.
We will keep improving our AI technology to create a positive and sustainable impact on the society to solve the social issues. We believe that the technology is the greatest driver of social good in this era.
