What are the hardware included in the Smart Home Care solution?
Smart Home Care is equipped with 3 Wi-Fi cameras, 1 SmartPeep AI Elderly-Sitter Software, 1 AI box and 1 Wi-Fi router.
Does Smart Home Care solution require installation?
Yes, our specialist will do the free installation in your senior’s house.
Where should I install the cameras?
We recommend the living room, kitchen, hallway or other common area where your senior will usually be. We don’t recommend bedroom due to privacy reason.
What's the requirement for using the solution?
You will need internet connection at home and power points to plug in the hardware. If you don't have internet connection at home, we advise you to get a mobile SIM card in order to use the solution.
Who monitors and responds when there is an event detected?
The AI software will do the first level of monitoring. The second level is the home care provider and they will respond when emergency event is detected by the AI software.
Who can receive the incident alert?
Only authorised home care provider can receive the alerts. Nurse will evaluate the incident and respond accordingly, e.g. contact senior or family member, disperse nurse to visit the senior or call ambulance.
What about the privacy? Is it secure?
There is no live streaming, no video and audio recording. AI analyses what is happening in real time, and reacts accordingly. Only alert notifications are made available to the authorised care team for incident investigation and rescue purpose. All information is processed at the edge, inside the AI box in your house, not in the cloud. We keep data safe and private. And we work hard to protect your information.
Will a cat or dog trigger a false alarm?
Our AI can differentiate between human and animals. It can recognise human behaviours. Animals will not trigger the emergency alerts.
Does Smart Home Care come with a warranty?
Yes, for as long as you are in an active contract term. If there is a fault with the device, we will fix or replace it with a new one.
